sold out and the Mission Inn sold out on some days, the MTAC secured

The Improvisation/Compostion Pageant: The application
form to the Fourth Annual Improvisation/Composition Pageant is now
available in the Application Forms and Documents section
of the website.. Students are invited to perform prepared improvisation
and/or original student compositions. In addition, students will have
the opporutunity to participate, on a volunteer-basis, in unrehearsed
improvisation as part of the games and activities portion of the program.

Certificate of Merit Branch Honors: The Redlands Branch
is proud to announce the students who were selected to receive Branch
Honors in the 2008 Certificate of Merit Evaluations. Each year, students
level two and higher are eligible for Honors consideration. All Honors
students receive a special gold seal on their Certificate to acknowledge
the honor. To receive Branch Honors, a student must achieve:
• a good or excellent rating in both sight-reading and technique
• perform all pieces well
• pass the theory test
• be selected for Honors by the evaluator
In addition to receiving Branch Honors, students Level Five and higher are eligible to perform in the Redlands Branch Honors Recital.
